  • Collision Estimator

    Position Summary:

    Full Time position, responsible for appraising customer’s vehicle damage to determine the cost of repairs.  Providing Customer Service to all current and prospective clients by phone, in person, and throughout the repair process from point of drop-off to delivery of completed vehicle.  Educate customer on the process of vehicle repairs, insurance procedures, customer rights, and repair techniques.  Keep customer informed and updated on the status of their vehicle.


    Responsibilities:

    • Estimate all drive-in appointments as well as “walk in” customers and complete repair plans

    • Complete process review with customer

    • Repair Orders: All files are opened with DRP compliance, including obtaining proper authorizations

    • Check in vehicle upon drop of with customer

    • Prepare and complete proper paperwork for final customer packet prior to vehicle delivery (DRP, final invoice)

    • Post repair plan documentation 

    • Provide post repair plan communication including all vehicle status updates

    • Conduct spot checks of each completed job for thoroughness and quality

    • Complete total loss administration

    • Perform other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring a world class customer service experience

    • Final QC, including test drive

    • Deliver vehicle to customer upon completion

    • Comply with all Bopp Collison Center LLC safety rules, guidelines, and standards

    • Perform other related duties as assigned including, but not limited to washing cars, cleaning the shop, assisting other teammates, etc.


    Requirements:

    • Must be at least 18 years of age

    • High School Diploma or equivalent

    • Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under company insurance policy

    • Ability to effectively communicate with others – verbal and written

    • Working estimating knowledge, including systems

    • Strong sales orientation

    • Organization and multi-tasking skills, good time management and the ability to adapt easily to fast-paced environment

    • Well groomed, professional appearance

    • Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (background & drug test)


    Physical Requirements / Working Conditions

    Position is based in a normal shop environment. Daily activity may consist of physical activity such as reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting and stooping to inspect repairs, lifting and carrying objects over 50 pounds as well as sitting and standing for extended periods of time during the estimating and disassembly process. The working environment consists of; exposure to fumes, chemicals, and dust, along with high levels of noise and subjectivity to weather conditions both inside and outside.

  • Automotive Detailer

    Position Summary:

    Full Time position, responsible, dedicated, and detail-oriented person to provide quality automotive cleaning services for our customers.  The Automotive Detailer is responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing vehicles in accordance with company standards or client specifications.  You should possess strong customer service skills and be familiar with the tools and agents used to clean and maintain vehicles.


    Responsibilities:

    • Complete cleaning and sanitizing vehicle interior in compliance with all company standards and client request.  This will include vehicles of different sizes including vans and large trucks

    • Vacuum and prepare vehicle interior 

    • Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior 

    • Check fluid levels and add as needed; check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; inspect vehicle exterior for damage

    • Inspect vehicle for any safety concerns; report any warning lights and/or vehicle/windshield/tire damage; pull vehicle out of the prep processing as necessary

    • Maintains a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions

    • Responsible for wearing proper personal protection equipment (PPE) and ensuring cleaning, detailing, washing and sanitization supplies are available

    • Assists customers when needed. Transport customers as needed.

    • Assist with moving vehicles in and out of shop

    • Site appearance responsibilities to include general cleaning; desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the shop, pick up debris in parking lot, and any other miscellaneous tasks related to the daily cleanliness of the building.

    • Comply with all Bopp Collison Center LLC safety rules, guidelines, and standards

    • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

  • Auto Body Technician

    Position Summary:

    Full Time position.  Autobody Technicians repair vehicles thoroughly, following industry guidelines/standards. Under general supervision, performs various duties in preparation and performance of automotive refinishing tasks; and performs related duties as assigned.


    Responsibilities:

    • Complete dis-assembly of vehicle to access damage to prepare a 100% Repair Plan

    • Ensure all needed repairs identified to eliminate supplements and minimize repair time

    • Plan work procedure: follow work order for all operations listed

    • Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window and seat operating equipment and trim to gain access to damaged area of vehicle if needed. Store parts on carts or cover to eliminate potential damage

    • Mend damaged body by hammering out or filling in dents and welding broken parts; ensure all gaps and fits are to industry standards; remove damaged fenders, panels and grills; and bolts or welds replacement parts in position and reassemble after parts are painted

    • Operate a variety of hand and power tools (e.g., welder, soldering equipment, cutting torch, blocks, hammers, wrenches, sander, spray guns, etc.)

    • File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces with 120-grit paper before turning vehicle over to the Paint Dept.

    • Repair or replace defective parts

    • Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles to check for compliance with safety and quality standards;  prepare vehicle for customer return

    • Advise of all Radar and Calibration needs.

    • Comply with all safety rules, guidelines, and standards

    • Perform other related duties as assigned relating to, but not limited to washing cars, cleaning the shop, etc.


    Requirements:

    • Must be at least 18 years of age

    • Must have a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under Bopp Collision Center LLC insurance policy (Not an excluded driver)

    • Ability to effectively communicate with others, oral and written

    • Ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders

    • Ability to multi-task and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment

    • Maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance

    • Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (background & drug test)


    Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:

  • Office Assistant

    Position Summary:

    Full Time position.  Responsible for a broad scope of administrative duties.  Answering incoming telephone calls, making outbound telephone calls, sending emails, and responding to emails are all necessary for this role.


    Responsibilities:

    • Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently but also collaborate with team to ensure timely completion of all work among the team

    • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

    • Ability to draft or respond to emails with spelling and grammar accuracy

    • Ensure Repair Order (RO) file accuracy and Direct Repair Compliance (DRP) compliance during repair and prior to vehicle delivery

    • Handle phone calls

    • Receive and qualify customers.  Review customer information sheets with customer for accurate information and legibility. 

    • Prepare job folder once repair order assigned by Estimator.  Enter towing bills. 

    • Phone calls to customers for appointment reminders and for pick up scheduling.

    • Assist in invoice entry.

    • Accounts Receivable entry.  Assist on follow up calls for accounts receivable.

    • Open mail.  

    • Maintain time clock attendance system and paid time off records.

    • Other duties as assigned

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work. Regularly required to talk or hear. Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The job may require lifting up to 20 lbs. and long periods of sitting while working at desk.
